Privacy Policy — NEET Quest

Last updated: 13 August 2026

This policy explains what NEET Quest (“the app”, “we”) collects, why, and what control you have. It describes the app exactly as it is built. If something changes, this page is updated and the date above changes with it.

1. Who we are

NEET Quest is a study app for NEET UG aspirants in India. It provides practice questions, previous-year questions, mock tests, flashcards, mnemonics and progress analytics.

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you give us

When you sign in with Google, we receive from your Google account:

Data Why
Email address Identifies your account and restores your progress on a new device
Display name Shown on your profile and the leaderboard

We do not receive your Google password. Sign-in is handled by Google.

During onboarding and profile editing, you may provide:

These are used to personalise your study plan, analytics and reminders. You can edit or clear most of them at any time in Profile → Edit Profile.

2.2 Information created as you use the app

About referrals. Your referral code is a random six-character string; it contains nothing about you. If you redeem a friend’s code, we store the link between the two accounts so the reward is credited once and only once. That record is the account identifiers and the code used — nothing more. If you never enter a code, no such record exists.

2.3 Information collected automatically

2.4 What we do NOT collect

We do not collect, and the app does not request:

3. What is visible to other users

Please read this section carefully.

The leaderboard and public profiles show the following to anyone else using the app:

Your email address, age, gender and state are never shown to other users.

If you do not want a piece of information visible, leave that field empty or clear it in Profile → Edit Profile. Your display name is required for the leaderboard; you may change it to any name you prefer.

4. Why we process your data

Purpose Data used
Run your account and restore progress across devices Email, progress data
Show your progress, analytics and predicted score Attempt history, XP, streak
Rank you on the leaderboard Display name, avatar, XP, streak, badges
Send study reminders you can turn off Push token, progress, mistakes
Show ads that keep the app free Advertising identifier
Fix crashes and improve the app Crash reports, usage analytics
Provide and verify premium subscriptions Purchase token, account identifier

5. Payments

Premium subscriptions are sold through Google Play Billing. Your card, UPI and bank details are handled entirely by Google. We never see or store them.

We store only: which plan you bought, when it expires, and the purchase token Google returns, so we can verify the purchase is genuine and give you access.

6. Who your data is shared with

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with data brokers.

Your data is processed by these service providers, only to run the app:

Provider What they process Their policy
Supabase Account, progress, leaderboard data (hosted in Asia Pacific — Mumbai region) supabase.com/privacy
Google Firebase Crash reports, usage analytics, push notifications firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMob Advertising identifier, ad interactions policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Google Sign-In Authentication policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Billing Subscription payments policies.google.com/privacy

We may also disclose data if required by Indian law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

7. Advertising

The free version of NEET Quest shows ads supplied by Google AdMob.

Before any personalised ad is shown, you are asked for consent through Google’s consent form. You may choose non-personalised ads instead — the app remains fully usable either way, and no feature is withheld based on your choice.

You can change this later in More → Privacy Settings, and you can reset your advertising identifier at any time in your device’s Google settings.

Rewarded ads. Some optional extras — a longer practice session in one sitting, or an extra weekly mock test — can be unlocked by choosing to watch a short ad. This is always your choice and never required: the entire question library is available without watching anything, and nothing you have already earned is taken away if you decline. Watching a rewarded ad involves the same AdMob processing described above and nothing additional.

Premium subscribers see no ads at all, rewarded or otherwise, and no feature is gated behind one.

8. How long we keep your data

9. Your rights and choices

You can, at any time:

To ask anything about your data, email queststudio.team@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

10. Security

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will inform affected users.

11. Children

NEET Quest is intended for students preparing for NEET UG, who are generally 16 years or older. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

If you are under 18, please use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email queststudio.team@gmail.com and we will delete it.

12. Data location

Your account and progress data are stored on Supabase infrastructure in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region. Crash reports, analytics and advertising data are processed by Google and may be handled on servers outside India, under Google’s own safeguards.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date changes and the new version is published at the same address. Significant changes will also be announced inside the app.
